Talemur

Scaling strategy, one business at a time.

What clients actually experienced working with us - no projections, no hypotheticals.

Every outcome listed here came from a specific engagement with a real business. Context matters, and results vary depending on the starting point, the sector, and how much the client is willing to act on what we work through together.

Situation

A Dublin-based consultancy with a stalled pipeline

Fearghal Ó'Briain ran a four-person consultancy that had been operating at the same revenue level for three consecutive years. The work was good, but the business had no structured way to bring in new clients beyond referrals. We spent the first two months mapping where time was going and what the offer actually looked like from the outside.

It wasn't that we were doing the wrong things - we just weren't doing enough of the right ones consistently.

After restructuring the service offer and building a basic outreach rhythm, the pipeline started moving within a quarter. The team didn't grow, but the work became more predictable.

Situation

A product business trying to move upmarket

Siobhán Devereux had built a small product brand that was well-regarded locally but kept hitting a ceiling when trying to reach larger buyers. The pricing didn't match the quality, and the positioning was unclear to anyone outside the immediate community. We worked through the offer structure, the communication, and how the product was presented to wholesale buyers.

It took several months before the first meaningful wholesale contract came through. That kind of shift doesn't happen overnight, and we were honest about that from the start.

4.5 / 5 average across 99 reviews

Tomasz Wierzbicki - logistics company, Co. Kildare

The sessions were direct and practical. I came in expecting generic advice and got something much more specific to how our business actually works. It took time to see the effect, but the thinking we did together changed how I make decisions now.

Aoife Hennigan - creative agency, Dublin

I appreciated that there was no pretending things would be easy or fast. We identified two areas where we were consistently losing margin and fixed both of them over about eight months. That kind of focused work is hard to find.

About the process

What a working engagement actually looks like

Most clients come in with a general sense that something isn't working - growth has slowed, margins are thin, or the team is stretched without clear direction. The first stage is diagnostic: understanding the business well enough to see where the real constraints are, not just the visible symptoms.

3–5

weeks to complete an initial diagnostic before any strategy work begins

Bi-weekly

working sessions throughout the engagement, with async support in between

The work is collaborative by design. Clients who see the most change are those who treat sessions as working time rather than reporting time - the thinking happens together, not in isolation between calls. Results depend on that participation as much as on any framework or method we bring.
